Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of TrackLTL and supplements our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use TrackLTL to:

  • Track illegal shipments — Use the Service in connection with shipments containing illegal goods, contraband, or items prohibited by applicable law
  • Submit false or fraudulent data — Enter fabricated tracking numbers, fake carrier credentials, or misleading shipment information
  • Access other tenants' data — Attempt to access, view, or modify data belonging to other TrackLTL customers
  • Reverse engineer the platform — Decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying algorithms of the Service
  • Scrape or harvest data — Use automated tools to extract tracking data, user data, or any other content from the Service
  • Resell the Service — Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to TrackLTL without written authorization
  • Abuse carrier APIs — Intentionally overload, spam, or abuse carrier API connections through the Service
  • Distribute malware — Upload logos, files, or content containing viruses, malware, or malicious code
  • Impersonate others — Use another company's brand assets, trademarks, or logos without authorization
  • Harass or abuse — Use the Service to harass, threaten, or send abusive communications

Rate Limits and Fair Use

To ensure service quality for all customers:

  • Tracking lookups are unlimited for normal business use
  • Automated or scripted requests may be subject to rate limiting
  • We reserve the right to throttle accounts that generate excessive API calls that impact service performance

Content Guidelines

Brand assets (logos, colors) uploaded to the Service must:

  • Be owned by you or used with proper authorization
  • Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
  • Not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights

Security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Not sharing your login credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Reporting any security vulnerabilities you discover to security@trackltl.com

Enforcement

Violation of this AUP may result in:

  • A warning with a request to correct the violation
  • Temporary suspension of your account
  • Permanent termination of your account without refund
  • Legal action where appropriate

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation of this policy and to take appropriate action at our sole discretion.

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@trackltl.com.
